1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the website at monsooncompass.blog or making a booking enquiry with Monsoon Compass, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit an enquiry. These terms apply to all visitors and customers, regardless of how they contact us.

2. Our Services

Monsoon Compass offers three main services in the Phuket region of Thailand:

• Sunset Headland Cycle Tour — a guided evening ride along coastal lanes, including guide, helmet, water, and a café stop (฿5,400 per person)
• Beachside Studio Stay (2 nights) — accommodation in a sea-facing studio with kitchenette, breakfast vouchers, and beach umbrella access (฿10,600)
• Gravel & E-Bike Rental (Daily) — daily hire of a maintained gravel bike or pedal-assist e-bike with helmet, lock, repair kit, and route card (฿3,600 per day)

Descriptions and inclusions on the website are accurate to the best of our knowledge. Minor variations in conditions, timings, or included items may occur and will be communicated in the booking confirmation.

3. Eligibility

To use our services you must be 18 years of age or older, or accompanied by a responsible adult. You confirm that any information submitted in an enquiry is accurate. For cycling activities, you confirm that you are capable of riding a bicycle safely and that you will notify us of any relevant health considerations before the activity begins.

4. Bookings and Payments

Bookings are confirmed by written acknowledgement from Monsoon Compass (typically by email or phone). A booking is not confirmed until you have received that acknowledgement. Prices are quoted in Thai baht (฿) and are all-inclusive as stated — no additional fees are added after confirmation.

Payment is due in full at the time of booking confirmation, by bank transfer or cash at our office. Prices are subject to change for future bookings; a confirmed booking is not affected by any subsequent price change.

5. Cancellations, Changes, and Refunds

We understand that travel plans change. Our policy is as follows:

• Date changes: permitted with at least 48 hours' notice, subject to availability
• Cancellations with 72+ hours' notice: full refund, less any processing costs already incurred
• Cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice: handled case by case; we will make reasonable efforts to offer a rescheduled date or partial credit
• Weather-related cancellations by Monsoon Compass: full rescheduling at no cost, or a full refund if rescheduling is not possible

Refunds, where applicable, are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable period.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the website — including text, images, layout, and the Monsoon Compass name and brand — belongs to Monsoon Compass or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from the site without our written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

When using the website or our services, you agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information in an enquiry
• Use the site in a way that could damage, overload, or impair it
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
• Use the content for any unlawful purpose

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Outdoor activities involve an inherent degree of physical risk. Monsoon Compass takes reasonable precautions to manage safety — we use well-maintained equipment, keep groups small, and brief participants before each activity. However, we cannot eliminate all risk, and by participating you acknowledge that.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Monsoon Compass's liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific booking in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

9. Third-Party Links

The website may contain links to external sites (such as map services or partner accommodation). We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. A link does not imply endorsement.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these terms or from use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Bookings confirmed before an update are governed by the terms in effect at the time of confirmation.
